Shirt & Pants

These were projects for Costume Construction class. For each project we were tasked with making a garment from scratch, these ones specifically being a Hawaiian shirt & Pajama Pants. This was challenging for me because we had to do everything for this process - buy the fabric & patterns, measure, cut, press, sew, hem - literally everything. Before this class, the extent of sewing was the incredibly bare bones basics I learned in middle & high school that I had forgotten by this point in time.

Im very proud of these projects because making a shirt and pants from scratch was something I never thought I would do in my life. I had plenty of trouble throughout the creation of both of these garments, however I pulled through and was actually able to make clothing I can wear!
